This collection began in 2004 with a simple curiosity: "What if I took what I had (a camera) and mixed it with something I found (colored plex)." In hard sun. While the initial "why" was pure wondering, meaning quickly applied itself to the effort. It became obvious that exploring how we perceive, or more importantly, how we perceive to our liking, was the commentary. This has traveled with me, albeit sporadically at times, and has certainly pushed and pulled with the times. The constants, however—a camera, makeshift filters, and the outdoors—remain, always waiting to be looked at anew.​
